Born in Liverpool, England, Alex T, better known as his on-air radio name “Alex,” is a young, multi-talented individual who has achieved significant success with his talents.

Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of working for large companies, attending large-scale events, as well as working with well-known personalities. Here are some of them.

Alex the Media Star

From a young age, he’s always been a keen broadcaster. By the age of 12, he would work with national media outlets such as BBC, ITV and CBBC.

But that’s not the only thing that’s keeping him busy. Alex is also an actor and TV presenter who has hosted behind-the-scenes specials of some of the biggest children’s programs in the United Kingdom like Grange Hill and Raven.

After leaving school, he pursued a career in radio and has worked across stations like KEY103, Radio City, and Greatest Hits Radio as a producer, and Hits Radio as a presenter hosting a national dance show across the UK.

He also heads up interviews backstage at the internationally renowned dance festival Creamfields in Cheshire every August. He talks to some of the biggest DJs in the world including David Guetta, Tiesto, Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers and Martin Garrix.

A Keen DJ as Well

But being on the air and television is not the only talent that Alex has up his sleeves. He is also a keen DJ who’s performed at numerous festivals including Formby Festival in Merseyside and Tramlines Festival in Sheffield.

“Both my dad and uncle were DJs so it was in my blood, I knew I’d always wanted to perform in front of crowds whether it be at parties, gigs, or thousands of people at a large-scale music festival,” Alex said.

When he was 13, Alex borrowed some equipment and DJ’d his first-ever party which was full of 18-year-olds, making it intimidating. Fortunately, Alex pulled it off.

This led to more bookings and by the age of 16, he was DJing regularly in nightclubs and bars across Liverpool. This naturally progressed onto radio and by the age of 20, he landed his very own national radio show.

A Name to Look Out For

Looking to further his career and continue what he loves to do, Alex is set to work on several projects in the coming year.

“I’m looking forward to life returning to normal post-COVID, everyone’s hungry for festivals, parties and celebrations. I just can’t wait to DJ in front of a crowd again, nothing feels better than playing to a group of people, the euphoria music brings is quite something else,” Alex said.

He added that he’ll also be back at Creamfields this summer where he will be interviewing some of the biggest artists including Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Alesso, and more.
